There are 2 ways to update apps (that you downloaded from the Apple App Store) on your Apple iPhone. 1. The first is to update them from your iPhone itself. Depending on what connections are available, your update will be downloaded over Wifi, 3G, or Edge (fastest to slowest in that order, typically). |

Reports have surface, and been confirmed by Apple, that there exists a flaw on the iPhone runnning version 2 of the OS. Apple representative, Jennifer Bowcock, told Macworld, that an update to the iPhone, version 2, that will be released in September will resolve it. Pressing the Emergency Call button, followed by 2 taps to the Home button will take you to the Favorites list on your iPhone with out asking for a password. Any information contained within those contacts, such as email addresses, phone numbers, URL's or text messages can be accessed without entering the pass code. |

Problem was they did not erase it first and not were stuck with not being able to erase/restore it. Plugging the iPhone in and launching iTunes displayed a box stating that the iPhone could not be accessed because it was locked. It needed to have the PIN code entered. Not that it did not have the current subscribers sim card installed you can't enter the PIN code. So what to do? Well it's wasn't easy to deduce, but the following acrobatic maneuver worked. So here it is. There may be other ways. As the saying goes, "there is more than one way to skin a cat," whatever that means... |

I run 3 lcd's on my Mac Pro. One day I wanted to update my picture in my address book, but the photos all looked washed out. I realized that the 3 lcd's were lighting me up like a criminal running from an L.A. Police helicopter. So I turned off the 2 outside lcd's and figured out that by holding the Shift key while clicking the shutter button, Photo Booth would not flash, bingo! No longer washed out. Now if only I could figure out the key combination to have Photo Booth make me better looking... |
